• Simpsons Target Cards - Andrew has created a set of wonderful Literacy targets which can be given to children, with some fantastic Simpsons illustrations. You can request the original file (which can be edited) from Primary Teacher UK. Also, see here for information about the font used.

• Writing Check System - A system, developed by Alison Greenwood, which aims to help develop children's progression in writing. Contains two relevant sheets (PDF).
• Writing Checklists - A set of useful PDF resources for developing children's writing. Also includes a mark scheme for written work. Contributed by Julie Hopkins.
• Checking Written Work - Two PDF sheets which can be used as a reminder for children to keep in front of them whilst they are editing and proofreading their work. Contributed by Sam Thomas.
• Writing Mark Scheme - A very helpful mark scheme to help teachers mark short and longer writing tasks. Contributed by Christine Stanger.
