Adjective Alphabet
Subject: Literacy
(This idea was contributed by Rhian Davies)
Age Range: 7 to 11

This is a quick and easy lesson, to learn more about adjectives and meanings of words.

Use a worksheet, listed A-Z down the page. The children have to search / think of adjectives beginning with each letter of the alphabet in turn to create an 'adjective alphabet' to help when writing stories, descriptions etc...

Use dictionaries to check spelling and check that the words are adjectives. Have fun!
