A great idea for outdoors is to give the children buckets of water containing some washing-up liquid and a selection of brushes of all different sizes, even including real decorators brushes.
The children can then "paint" the playground walls and fences etc. The children love this and the addition of the washing up liquid helps them to see where they have painted.
