This is a good way of introducing basic shapes to young children.
- Provide pre-cut circles - of different colours, patterns and textures.
- Place in the centre.
- Then give each child a larger circle to stick the mini circles onto.
You could repeat this basic activity using squares, triangles, etc.
It is simple yet interesting for a pre-school child.
