Hunt the Honey
Subject: Early Years
(This idea was contributed by Anne Briscombe)
Age Range: Early Years

Let the children make a circle, then choose one child to be at the centre of the circle.

Tell all the children to close their eyes, then hide a bean bag behind one of the children. Ask the child standing at the centre to look for the "honey" by saying 'teddy bear, teddy bear, where's my honey?'

Then the child needs to find the honey. When he/she finds it they have to run around the room trying to catch up with the stolen honey. If caught the child has to give the honey back. Then children exchange roles until everyone else has a turn.
