To make cress eggheads:

You will need:

  • an eggshell
  • an egg cup
  • felt tip pens
  • cotton wool
  • cress seeds

What to do:

1. Scoop out any remaining bits of egg, then fill with cotton wool

2. Put the shell back in an egg cup, then carefully draw a face with a felt pen.

3. Sprinkle on a layer of cress seeds

4. Cover the egg with paper and leave for two or three days until the seeds start to sprout.

5. Once the seeds are sprouting, take off the cover and stand the eggcup by a window. Be sure to sprinkle with water each day.
