Butterflies
Subject: Early Years

Age Range: Early Years

*Pre-cut shapes of butterflies on A4 coloured paper.

*Ask students to paint on one side of the wing of the butterfly.

*Students then fold the butterfly in half, and the symmetrical pattern the children have painted on one side of the wing shall appear on the otherside.

Follow up - Read the story "The Very Hungry Caterpillar."
