Coordinate Connect 3

Age Range: 7 - 11
By: Simon Hollowbread

The children are given a 6x6 grid and two dice of differing colours.

The children take it in turns to roll the dice and each die corresponds with a co-ordinate point. The child then writes down their set of co-ordinates and marks it down on the grid and the second child takes their turn until one child has three crosses in a row and then they are the winner.

If a child throws the dice and that co-ordinate has gone they miss that go.

My class really enjoy playing and usually beating me.

Easy to understand, and with an element of luck to give the less able children a chance to win! thanks very much
