Children can create their own amazing Picasso portraits online by going to mrpicassohead.com. I used this with my class of Year 3 and 4's to begin a study on Picasso.
Each table group worked co-operatively to produce a portrait online. These were then printed out. The children could then access the website a s much as they liked at home.
After looking at lots of Picasso portraits, the children then created their own using simple oval shapes with pastel, dye and sharpie. The results were colourful and effective.
