Draw through a Magnifying Glass

Contributed by:
Sadaf Suhail
Age Range: 11 and over

Choose tiny objects from the park like a petal, leaf, pebble, a stem or piece of any junk.

Place these things in your palm. Give each student a magnifying glass and ask them to draw and shade this tiny composition on an A2 sheet of paper covering it from edge to edge with as much of detail as possible.

The end effect is very interesting and also helps to observe stuff in detail.
